Following Tina Knowles having filed for divorce from her husband Mathew in 2009, the couple's legal separation was finalised last month when a Texas court issued them with a final decree of divorce.

The couple, who had been married for 31 years, separated in 2009 when Tina discovered that Mathew - who had previously managed his daughter's career - had secretly fathered a love child.



Tina filed for divorce shortly after the couple had separated, but was forced to file a second divorce petition in August of this year following them both having failed to attend a court hearing that had been scheduled.

Tina left Mathew following it having come to light that he had engaged in extramarital relations with actress Alexsandra White. White was pregnant when the affair became known to Tina, and whilst Mathew initially denied that he was the father, his claims were disproven through a DNA test, however.

Beyonce severed all business relations with her father in March of this year, though she has since claimed that it is only their business relationship that has come to an end and that she is no way estranged from her father, 60.

Mathew had previously helped his daughter gain lucrative deals with companies such as Pepsi and Tommy Hilfiger whilst Tina had previously worked as her daughter's stylist during her time with girl group Destiny's Child.
